Snowdonia

I grew up in North Wales and have been a regular visitor to Snowdonia for the past 25 years. I have walked and climbed throughout the National Park.

I record my journeys in small sketchbooks I carry with me. Successive pages are often used to record the landscape in pencil and oil pastel. This process hopefully lends the work a live, urgent quality.

The drawings are then digitally combined to create the final work.
